Surah Al-Baqarah (2)

    “O believers! Spend from the good things you have earned and from what We have brought out for you from the earth…” (2:267)

    “Those who devour usury will not stand except as stand one whom the Devil has driven to madness by [his] touch. That is because they say, ‘Trade is just like usury.’ But Allah has permitted trade and has forbidden usury. So whoever has received an admonition from his Lord and desists may have what is past, and his affair is with Allah. But whoever returns to [dealing in] usury – those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein.”

    “And two young men entered prison with him. One of them said, ‘Indeed, I have seen myself [in a dream] pressing wine.’ The other said, ‘I have seen myself carrying bread on my head, and birds were eating from it.’ They said, ‘Inform us of its interpretation, for we see you to be of those who do good.'”
