Surah Al-Baqarah (2)

“O believers! Spend from the good things you have earned and from what We have brought out for you from the earth…” (2:267)

“Those who devour usury will not stand except as stand one whom the Devil has driven to madness by [his] touch. That is because they say, ‘Trade is just like usury.’ But Allah has permitted trade and has forbidden usury. So whoever has received an admonition from his Lord and desists may have what is past, and his affair is with Allah. But whoever returns to [dealing in] usury – those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein.” - 2:177
“It is not righteousness that you turn your faces toward the East or the West, but righteousness is in one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the Angels, the Book, and the Prophets, and gives his wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves.” - 2:188
“And do not consume one another’s wealth unjustly or send it (in bribery) to the rulers in order that (they might aid) you (to) consume a portion of the wealth of the people in sin, while you know (it is unlawful).” - 2:282
“O you who have believed, when you contract a debt for a specified term, write it down. And let a scribe write it between you in justice. Let no scribe refuse to write as Allah has taught him. So let him write. And let the one who has the obligation dictate. And let him fear Allah, his Lord, and not leave anything out of it.”
